I have quickly amended a trip we have available for 2026 to give you a taste:
The most popular request we receive for an Irish Golf Vacation course is that of Royal County Down – Championship Links, combined with (currently) the only Open Championship Venue in Ireland, at Royal Portrush GC – Dunluce Links, which hosted a fantastic events in 2019 won by Irishman Shane Lowry and again in 2025, by World Number 1, Scottie Scheffler.
The major courses are complimented by Ballyliffin Glashedy Links, Portstewart Golf Club – Strand Course and County Louth GC at Baltray making it 5 venues which have hosted The Irish Open on The European Tour/DP World Tour. The final addition to this proposed itinerary is Portmarnock Golf Club, the next newest Open Championship venue, not announced yet but expected to be there around 2030.
Accommodation: Staying in Portrush for 4 Nights, whilst in Portrush with stunning views over The Dunluce Links at Royal Portrush GC. The second location is the iconic red bricked, Slieve Donard Hotel & Spa for 3 Nights, B&B Basis at Newcastle, County Down. Finishing up in Dublin for 2 Nights, B&B Basis and allowing the chance to explore Irelands fine capital city.
Transport: You will have sole use of SAFG luxury Mercedes Vehicles and experienced drivers throughout your stay so to cater for Golf, Airport, Dining & Sightseeing Activities.
