Accommodation: The base for the first three nights is at 5* Gleneagles Resort, staying in 2 x Manor View Double Rooms, B&B Basis. Gleneagles is probably the best resort experience in Scotland at the moment, we were there for a few nights over easter 2023 and it caters for everything you could want, excellent dining options, spa, outdoors activities and much more. Gleneagles is also the perfect location to unlock the sightseeing days without increased driving and spending more time in the vehicle. The final night will be spent at the 5* Old Course Hotel, in 2 x Old Course View Double Rooms, B&B Basis. Views over the iconic Old Course and to West Sands Beach, whilst also being a stones throw from the heart of the town.
If you would like me to offer alternative hotel options, or would like me to provide options for feature rooms/suites, just let me know.
Sightseeing/Activities: An action packed visit that we hope to showcase a lot of what Scotland has to offer. More information in the itinerary below.
Dining: I have included dining reservations that I would recommend to enhance the trip, plus a couple of other wildcard options below:
- If you are food lovers, there is an opportunity to switch the evening meal on Day 2 or 3 to The Andrew Fairlie (2 Michelin Star) Restaurant at Gleneagles. Our guests have advised it has been magnificent!
- Whilst touring on Day 2, there is availability to include ‘Dome Dining‘ at Kingshouse for a touch of a unique experience looking out over Buachiille Etive Mòr. (Heaters are available)
Golf: I have included the The Jubilee Course on Day 4, plus hire clubs. There will be an option to enter the ballot process for the Old Course (entered before Day 2 at 2pm) and if successful, there would be a supplement of £85.00 per golfer due for increased green fee. If there is poor weather for golf this day, we have flexibility to change plans and golf costs would be refunded, such as Stirling Castle & Wallace Monument AM before travelling to St Andrews.
Transport: You will have full use each day of a 2023 Mercedes Vclass Senzati and experienced Driver to cover all sightseeing, activities, dining, golf and the to and from airport/train transfers.
